Intensely spicy dark cherry nose with hints of purple flowers and dark chocolate. Dark jammy plum and black fruit flavors with notes of tobacco and dark chocolate. Deep red/purple color. Big tannins and a pleasantly tart and peppery finish. — 4 years ago

Cloudy, golden yellow color with pale yellow edges and a medium body. Legs are loooong and slow, and the nose is all naturále. Slightly funky but big on the citrus, especially the lemon, with a big nose of ripe rind, and hints of salt and tart yellow fruits (star fruit and maybe Budda’s hand?). It didn’t start out that way, it was all natural wine funk at the beginning, but after an hour it opened up a lot and rested into its own. Palate has some sharp acidity, ripe lemon and almost cooked citrus fruits, kinda creamy and caramelized, with notes of brandy, apple cider like hints, vegetal notes (like celery?), creamy cinnamon sugar (like a coffee cake) even a little forest floor! The flavor and acid lingers long after your sip, and leaves a slight zingy flavor on the palate. Whew! — a month ago

Paleo Rosso is one of the symbols of Bolgheri , and “Paleo” is the common name of a species of grass, which grows wild along the Tuscan Coast; best-known Cab Francs. Deep Ruby with aromas fruit, dried herbs and spice for this 100% Cab Franc. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with leather, cacao and herbs. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Nice, tasting sample. — 4 years ago

Dark red color, medium full body.
Very earthy, notes of clay, red fruit flavors. Tannins are there but integrated and soft. Long earthy finish. Great wine
