Black cherry, wet earth, just a touch of brett-funk. This should be something special in a few years. Fierce. — 5 years ago

2016, Puligny Montrachet vieilles vignes, Florent Garaudet. Nez floral et beurré, fraîcheur en bouche, très agréable, très aromatique, excellent vin blanc. — 5 years ago
This is one of the best Muscats I’ve ever had. I first drank it at L’Auberge du Pecheur in St Florent. Sweet but wonderful acidity. I’m drinking the 2014 in 2019. It hasn’t been in a wine fridge, and it’s still perfect. — 6 years ago
Very very good! — 5 years ago
In 1953, Jean Baumard acquired vineyard in Quarts de Chaume, in 1968, purchased substantial acreage in Savennieres. Today Jean’s son, Florent, manages the winery. Aromas of green fruits, floral and flinty notes. On the palate green apple, pear, melon and slight nutty flavors, well balanced with acidity. Medium+ length ending, no fluttering with fresh juicy mineral, just like the butterfly on the label! Will age well if you can resist opening. — 5 years ago

Nose: hints of seashells and nuts. Hints of yellow fruits.
Palate: still very fresh. Hints of green apple. Hints of yellow fruits. Very mineral. Electric freshness. Hints of richness. Delicious.
Long juicy finish
A stunning performance for a village wine.
