Brick red w rose petal and hint of balsamic. Showing more age than I would have expected. But delicious — 4 months ago
Only a touch less panoramic perhaps than the recent 2010 of this. A little browning, probably still at its peak. Seems to respond better to gradual airing in the bottle or glass than being poured into decanter. $190 from Winestar. — 6 months ago
Bright red fruit — 7 months ago
Brilliant showing. So much energy and unreal inner mouth perfume. Nose is all roses and tar. Cherries will develop. Drinking perfectly. Huge concentration and depth. Awesome mid season cherry fruit and a terrific finish. — 3 months ago
An absolute delightful Nebbiolo with bright vibrant red showing through, fabulous nose, and a wide array of spice and herbs. Just coming into its best window with easily 20 more years to enjoy. Pleasant surprise of complexity and easy drinking. Begs for duck on the plate. — 4 months ago

An absolutely fantastic single vineyard Brunello. Dark ruby color with a slight brick colored fade on the rim. Fragrant aromas of red berries, tobacco, leather and purple flowers. Flavors of ripe red and black cherries, coffee, black licorice and minerals. Distinct note of forest floor on the long lasting and luxurious finish. Full bodied. Silky tannins and impeccable balance. Powerful, yet quite suave, polished and sophisticated. Aging beautifully and should continue to improve. Absolutely outstanding! Thank you Kase for the wonderful gift! — 4 months ago

First bottle three years ago had more energy. Went sour on day 2. — 4 months ago
Delightful organic white from one of the oldest estates in Sicilia. Complex, not too floral. So good. 2023 — 7 months ago

Etna: Poured into a decanter about an hour prior to service; enjoyed over the course of dinner. The 2021 pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears and some fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with Bing cherry, Asian five spice, porchini, oregano, crushed gravel and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. Another stunner from this incredible, own-rooted parcel in the Calderara Sottana contrada featuring vines over 140 years old. Insane. Drink now with some air and through 2041. — 19 hours ago
