2022. Really delicious and balanced skin contact wine. Savory notes without the funk of some similar style wines. We loved it paired with Persian kebabs, spreads, and salads. — a month ago
Terrific red wine from the La Clarine Estate vineyard, reminds me a little of Domaine de Trevallon (Cab and Syrah, though here other grapes as well), big and rich still, showing just a tad of mature notes, long, persistent finish, hides its 14.5% ABV well, kudos to Hank!! — 2 months ago
Translucent ruby with an orange rim.
Dark, sour, fresh berries on the nose.
Medium-light bodied with a medium finish. — a day ago
2022 vintage opened in 2024. Should have been more patient, but it was delightful young. Apple, lemon, with light caramel. — a month ago
The 2022 Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara County) is a stellar appellation-level wine. Bright and vibrant, with terrific depth, the 2022 possesses striking energy, expressive, pliant fruit and fabulous balance. Crushed red berries, white pepper, mint and rose petal all grace this exquisite Pinot Noir. This is, without question, one of the best Pinots in its peer group in 2022. Spicy, almost smoky at the start, with a sweet finish that becomes more pronounced after several minutes in the glass — 4 months ago

This lovely Pinot Noir shows a compelling aroma of clove, cherry, raspberry, black tea with soft tannins and a refreshing finish. I’d drink it again! — 8 days ago
