Far Niente

Mellower than expected with age. Might be a good balance a few years sooner with more oak. Still excellent and a wonderful treat. — 4 days ago

Brut Champagne Blend 2013

Amazing what a good champagne can taste like at 11 years. Completely fresh and crisp with just a slight softness. Delicious! As far as value, let’s not go there. — 7 months ago

Post & Beam Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Like this better than some more expensive bottles that taste like they contain granulated sugar! Nice bottle. Not much time on the palate, but OK, I will drink faster! — 14 days ago

Great Chardonnay. Not as strong as far Niente but still good. Brighter and more acidic. — 5 days ago

By far the best Kongsgaard Chard I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot) with an unexpected brightness and acidity. — 3 months ago

@Ira Schwartz The oak wasn’t too prominent, which was surprising since I’ve historically found Kongsgaard Chards to be too heavy and oaky for my taste. This one was much more balanced with good acidity, really enjoyable. I don’t know if it is a change in style or an outlier but I hope for the latter since I have friends on the list who subject me to Kongsgaard from time to time.
