Tasted blind. Medium gold, heavy. Great leesy lemon nose. Some honey and white stone too. Very tight, with Chablis-like intensity/acidity. Seems young. I go with 02 Raveneau MdT as a guess. Surprised to see an 89 in such great condition. I had/loved the 86 of this. Would love to find me some of this 89... — 6 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2020 pours a bright straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with beautiful, lifted notes of ripe tropical fruit; pineapple, star fruit, passion fruit, lemon, freshly struck match, white flowers, gentle warm spices and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is an excellent village wine and love the style. Drink now through 2035. — 2 months ago

Crisp, smooth minerals, very delightful — 4 years ago
Apple and citrus mix with red berry suggestions on the nose. Hint of good funk and savory/ meaty quality. Cabbage patch kids and green apple candy on the palate. Yeasty, long prickly finish. Powerful and light; almost reminiscent of Dom. Disgorged 21, base 18. — 5 years ago

These champagnes simply do not miss. Clear salmon in color with particularly active, attractive bubbles. The nose is so immediately pleasing and oh so clean. All the red berries that you would expect along with semi sweet bread and rose water. Chalk is a superstar here.
One of the more impressive rosés I’ve tasted. Composed of 90/10 Chardonnay/Pinot Noir, this is a smoother champagne. Elegant and rather substantial, this has nice weight to it. Nicely restrained acidity throughout with the terroir singing.
Immensely drinkable and bright. Vibrant red fruits abound. Spice on the tongue that elevates this. And some exquisite chalkiness. That’s what truly makes this a top notch wine. I will definitely have to get more of this. — 2 years ago
