Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

This opens up after several minutes and the initial acidity recedes. Flowers on the nose, dark cherries, fresh apricots, plums lead off. Next up are apples tempered by vanilla, with soft tannins and an acidic finish. — 3 hours ago

Les Dionnières Hermitage Red Rhone Blend

Ruby. Oak, vanilla, black currant. Tannic. Later on, turned into smooth with cosmetic. Elegant! Is that Hermitage? Enough decanting is necessary to enjoy the real taste. 18 @11440, AD, 240509 — a year ago

Palmer Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Great value! Doesn’t taste as Willamette-y as most but still good fruit and terroir shining through. Mildly earthy and herbaceous, but mostly cherry notes on the front. — 3 years ago

Heredity Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

Cherry, nail polish, dustyness, and forest floor on the nose with juicy cherry, plum, and currant that explodes on the pallet with forest and earthy flavors joining. A long dark cherry driven finish. I think a crowd pleaser. — 5 months ago

Richard Dinner Vineyard Chardonnay 2011

Well tonight it was a battle between a ‘11 Peter Michael Ma Belle Fille and a ‘11 Paul Hobbs Ritchie Vineyards. It was very close. Much like picking between your kids but PM prevails. — 5 years ago
