Poured into a decanter about an hour prior to service. The 2005 “Panoplie” pours a deep garnet color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous, with notes of ripe and desiccated black and red fruit: blackberries, Marionberries, raspberries, black cherry, strawberry, leather, mushrooms, purple flowers, cocoa, old wood and a mix of dry organic and inorganic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and simply delicious. Drink now through 2040+. — 4 months ago

A wonderful Mount Veeder Cab that has aged elegantly.
The nose shows blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum laced with savory notes of cedar, tobacco and dried herbs. The palate is concentrated yet vibrant with silky tannins has firm grip, finishing long with hints of cocoa and espresso.
Restrained power and finesse, Yannick brought both Veeder’s rugged characters and French precision. Last bottle. — 4 months ago
BDX blend with 65% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc. grippy tannins, and leathery. Fruit quite constrained. Let’s see how this bottle evolves with more air. Upped it to 90 points with two hours of air - tannins mellowed out and cassis and red fruit evolved. Nice. — a month ago
A fruit forward and delicious wine. Lots of red fruits balanced excellently with Syrah and Mourvèdre. Medium finish. — 3 months ago
Nice well rounded and slightly fruity. Really enjoyed it. — 7 months ago
