A sunbeam in a glass — peach, citrus, and a whisper of mango drift over crisp minerality, all tied together with the faintest touch of oak. It’s so balanced and layered I almost feel unworthy of drinking it. This wine carries itself like someone twice its age: wise, graceful, and self-assured, yet still somehow able to charm and energize a teenager, hence why i seem to like it. Notes of green apple, white pepper, peach, vanilla on the nose. On the palate, hints of berry and lemon, not super mineral-driven, but still crisp and refreshing. Follows up with a kiss of oak on the finish. Overall the wine feels a little adolescent but is still a lot of fun. — 4 months ago
