20 years. Well top vintage and vineyard. What to do you think? Back then already 150$. At its peak! Ridiculously refined. Cardamom plum nose. Tannins fully resolved. My wife says mellow. I hate this term. Faint cherry, Touch crushed marble, hint lime, green tea, …looses fruit and interest after 3 hours. Drink within 60 min gone later ——-!!!!!! — a month ago
Lovely balanced mature grenache . Hint of cherries and dark fruit. — 2 months ago
Nose is deep, charming and complex. In the mouth it enters with strength and bitterness which turns into herbal freshness towards the end.

Very bright and refreshing with citrus and saline notes. Paired so lovely with Cajun shrimp and French fries. — 6 days ago
So good. 22’s rounding into the form I had from barrel in June 23. Unreal cherry clarity on the nose and super floral. Pungent. Palate is so good. Opulent sweet fruit but all so chiseled. Juicy and just gorgeous clarity of fruit here. Sick inner mouth aromas. Such finesse and softness but structured softness. Unreal velvet texture. Let’s see what air does. Supple and sweeter with air. — 15 days ago

I was going through my La Chapelle section today and my eyes got stuck on this 1999 - bottle looked absolutely pristine and I decided it was a perfect age to drink. Cork was in great condition and the wine was powerful and youthful with no signs of oxidation. Could have kept the bottle for a few more years, but it was probably perfect today. All the complex leathery earthy goodness you expect from this wine was there. — 19 days ago
