Light lemon-hued. Aromas and flavors of apple, citrus, melon, peach, pear, and saline, with hints of cream and vanilla and a finish of minerals. Light-bodied with high acidity. Balanced. — a month ago

Wide open. Super juicy red fruit and mint. Buffet makes as good of volnay as anybody in my view. — 14 days ago
Beautifully oak forward, if a little bit too much, especially once it opens up. Missing a bit of body but there's a nice spicy red fruit notes and strong hint of cherries. Quite a nice one for it's price. — 2 months ago
Bright ruby red with pink rim . Quite open and juicy, fresh and enticing , red cherry , raspberry , strawberry , with just a touch of fresh cut herbs . On the palate quite ripe red fruits noted on the nose with just a hint of smokiness. Finishes clean and fresh and with good acidity , ripe fine tannin, good balance and ok length . Quaffable, moreish and nicely judged Côtes du Rhône to drink now and over the next 7-10 years . — 4 months ago
This Grenache-based wine has a lovely, light pink hue, very Provençal. The nose carries aromas of sweet grapefruit, lemons and ripe strawberries. The palate brings an acidity that is fresh and lively. Red fruit and citrus notes come through nicely. When I think of rosé, this is the sort of wine that is in my thoughts. This is what I want in my glass all summer. — a month ago
So I guess this is a Gamay from the Rhône? Didn’t know such a thing existed but this is the best “Rhône” I’ve had in a long time - mostly bc it’s a Beaujolais through and through - classic muddy/cloudy consistency, intense fruit on the nose. Only issue is that it’s still very sparkly on the palate, so definitely needs a few more years. Or a very long decant. Tons of potential — 4 months ago

This was still incredibly youthful. Would never have guessed ‘89. — 4 months ago
