Drinks well now. Rounded tannins. — 4 months ago
A blend of a tad more Chardonnay than Pinot Noir, nice lemon yellow color with golden edges, aromas of fruit, spice and brioche notes, nice mousse and bubble flow. On the palate flavors of fresh fruit, peaches, pineapple and ripe lemon with hints of toasted nuts and citrus zest. Long finish ending with rich briny yeasty mineral character. Drinks well now but will go another 10+ years! — 8 months ago
Birthday year wine for me! Might not be the best Tig vintage, but nothing to scoff at. The ‘88 is getting to be almost last prime, this time bottle showing well. Rusty red with strong aromas of cigar box, leather, and pencil shavings. Drinks slightly thin, and im not getting much fruit. Still, it’s tasty and a special vintage to me. — 2 months ago
Young but absolutely promising. Drinks well now and will evolve even more in years to come. Fruit heavy, nice residual sugar mouth feel. — 6 months ago
2019 Le Macchiole Bolgheri Rosso is described as an underrated super Tuscan that drinks well above its price point. Le Macchiole is known for making 100pt Messorio. This wine is made from 50% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc, 20% Cab Sauvignon, and 10% Shiraz/Syrah. The Merlot provides the elegant silky structure. It has been described as bridging old world character with new world ripeness. It is elegant, well balanced, and pairs perfectly with homemade pizza.
A perfect wine for a Sunday evening.

Decant for sediment and pour(decent chunky/fine sediment). A remarkable murky magenta color with bricking. On the nose: beautiful nose of stewed black fruit/currants, floral, herbaceous, burnt embers, spearment. Taste: classic old school Napa, juicy, balanced, savory wine with dark cherry, baking spice, smoke, sweet tobacco and a nice long earthy cocoa finish. YUM! Drinks well at year 20 and glad to have another bottle. — 2 months ago
2019 Ridge Lytton Springs is a classic California field blend. It is made up of 73% Zinfandel, 16% Petite Sirah, 9% Carignane, and 2% Mataro. The vineyard is located in Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County. Dark red fruit on the nose with a bit of spice. Brambly intense fruit on the palate. Supple tannins. Really nice acidity and a lengthy finish. Drinks well now and will likely be even better in a few years. — 7 months ago
Blend of 79% Cab Sauv, 15% Merlot, 3% Cab Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby, concentrated aromas, ripe black fruit, cedar, subtle nutty spice & creamy chocolate. On the palate flavors of plum, blackcherry & dried blackberry, with oak, cacao and herb vanilla. Tannins are firm and persistent on a long elegant finish ending with fruit, cacao, vanilla & mineral tang. Drinks well now, a powerhouse, & will continue to develop over the next 15-20 years! Outstanding! Tasting Sample! — 2 years ago

85% Cab Sauv and 15% Cab Franc from Italy. Drinks on the more mellow side compared to a big California Cab. — 17 days ago
