Blend of 79% Cab Sauv, 15% Merlot, 3% Cab Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby, concentrated aromas, ripe black fruit, cedar, subtle nutty spice & creamy chocolate. On the palate flavors of plum, blackcherry & dried blackberry, with oak, cacao and herb vanilla. Tannins are firm and persistent on a long elegant finish ending with fruit, cacao, vanilla & mineral tang. Drinks well now, a powerhouse, & will continue to develop over the next 15-20 years! Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, currants, ripe plum, blackberry, hints of vanilla , leather, and oak with spice. On the palate, cherry, blueberry, vanilla, warm spice, minerals, with a medium-long finish of minerals, cherry, blueberry and vanilla. Medium to full body. Tannins are strong but nicely balanced. $140 at Total Wine.
