This wine was awesome. Perfect mid-life Bordeaux (though probably has far more years on the other side). fresh cedar nose, perfect tannin balance and plenty of currant core fruit. Wish I had more.

Tight, austere and powerful, this wine still needs a lot of time to settle. I am not such a fan of St Estephe but I must admit Calon Segur 2009 is quite well made. Will not buy it.

Delicious. Dark cherry, cassis, and licorice on the nose. Long, soft finish. Computer but elegant. Went perfectly with ribeye. One of the best Bordeaux wines I've had.

Great fragrance of dark berry, stone fruit and dark cherry. Drinks quite smoothly with a silkiness on the palate. Has flavors of dark cherry, currants, stone fruit with a hint of pepper. A little rich but very nice to drink!
