Very hard to open cork was very dry almost like dust in the end 1/3 was dropped into the bottle and the wine was decanted. Color brown and unclear looked dirty, wine not dead but had a sweet taste, just fun to taste not good, maybe not the best storage, 42 years old is something but why on earth keep it so long?
