65/18/15/2 blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsaut and Petit Sirah. Moderate to high pigment extraction, purple red. Aromas and flavors of black pepper and raspberry. Ever so slightly tart, moderate skin astringency on finish with spearmint and alcohol-forward bitterness. Will mellow with decanting. Good value with a screw cap thrown in, yes! Drinks better than the last vintage I had of this. — 2 months ago
Crisp bright and dry with floral notes, a soft slightly viscous mouthfeel and a lingering finish. A true to Rhone stunner. — 3 years ago
A lovely, extremely versatile wine. Typical Bonny Doon quality. — 6 days ago
Very interesting Central Coast single varietal offering. Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Plush aromas of black fruit, violets, smoke and wet slate. Black plum, black raspberry and boysenberry fruit flavors with hints of black pepper and dark bitter chocolate. Long, dusty and mineral-laden finish. Plush soft tannins, fruit forward and quite fleshy. Wonderful balance and perfectly aged. Another unique and well crafted Boony Doon wine. — 5 months ago

Good but not cold enough — a year ago

After 30 minutes of decanting all of the sharp acidity rounded out & it is like a baby CdP. Great value wine. — 3 years ago
One of my favorites. Love this wine but can never find it anymore! — 4 years ago

Rich and and mild. Delicious and perfectly balanced. Too bad they don’t make these any more. Should look for it. — 7 days ago
