A lovely little sticky that has you coming back for more. Not sugary sweet but a wonderful fruit sweetness that is addictive.

Rich amber color. Subtle aromas of pear, beeswax, linden, and acacia honey lead to a palate ripe with honeycomb, chamomile, Asian pear, and quince paste. Quite sweet and just shy of sufficient balancing acidity. Pair with sharp and aged cheeses. 11.2% abv, RS 14.6% (sample)

Founded by Randall Grahm in the bucolic hamlet of Bonny Doon, California, in 1983, known for strikingly original wines. Wild flavors of stone and ripe tropical fruits, with a toasty notes on the nose. Tastes of caramelized fruits, sweet, good balance with acidity, good length on the finish, screaming for bowl of raspberries topped with zabaglione.

This will always have a special place in my heart, since it was bought on a great trip. Overall a tasty, good quality dessert wine it paired perfectly with my apple and pear strudel.
