Young but showing a strike of genius, here is a BDX that can be enjoyed now. Merlot goes a long way here on a wine this young! Enjoy now or let it sit for another 5 years. — 6 years ago
Great nightcap while watching an old Bond movie! Powerful and fruit forward showing some hints of earth and oak. It’s always a strong Tempranillo showcasing the depth of tinta de toro and heat of the region. Be patient and give it time and will become a beautiful wine. If you get impatient like i did let it breathe. — 6 years ago
Current release and kicking butt. Awesome Rioja showing it all, decant and enjoy it with some meat!! — 6 years ago
This was the best out of the four Voerzio Barolos opened this night. Although young after being opened and decanted for 3 hours it began to soften up and show amazing fruit, flowers and touches of earth notes. The true beauty laid in the raspberry tea leaf, wild strawberries, red cherries, and sweet tea character amongst many other beautiful notes that came and went as the wine developed with time. Truly amazing and a must for Italian wine lovers! Cheers to me. Voerzio — 6 years ago
Billecart still has its mojo, elegant, complex and delicious. This is a wine for any occasion sip it alone or enjoy it with food — 6 years ago
Barrel fermented goodness! Stunning blanc de blanc with fruit coming from Cramant, Avize, and Chouilly, 5 years on it’s lees with about 20% reserve wine.
Composed, balanced, slightly rich still maintaining great acid. I’ve been a fan of this small family run winery for many years and after visiting them I’ll continue to fly the VJ flag! — 6 years ago
So pretty and tasty, I was truly surprised at how good this was right out of the gate! Any concern that it might be too young to drink was forgotten since it was simply delicious filled with ripe and sweet fruit that just made it absurdly tasty and approachable young. My god I want more! — 6 years ago
The most delicious and refined super premium wine out Spain that you never heard of. A selection of the fruit from a small old vineyard plot planted over 100 years ago. Only the best will go i to Vatan Arena, and a special Wine this is. Think Bordeaux meets with early 80’s Napa and had a lovechild! If you get a chance to by some, drink some do it! I can only imagine how this beauty would age! — 6 years ago
Tight and crisp in the beginning but give it a little time, specially if too cold and the pretty ripe and baked apple aromas start to show adding to the already existing zing of lime, an added layer of honeysuckle and amazing balance and it’s a home run! — 6 years ago

These wines take a while to open up but once it happens there is some type of magic. The nose is stunning with a mix of red fruits that are fresh and ripe, herbaceous notes, and earthy tones, black tea and minuscule hints of leather. The plate is sheer elegance, the fruits show tart the flowers and herbs sing fresh and the texture is classic burgundy. — 5 years ago
