2012 vintage. Pessac-Léognan arguably produced the best wines in this difficult Bordeaux vintage, and this is a great effort. Deeply coloured, dense, and concentrated, with a ripe tannic structure and very good length. Drinking well now, but will keep for many more years. Fine value, well worth seeking out. This is in a good spot and also has room and time to improve. Right now, earthy cherries are just budding. I'd imagine they pre-purchased space to expand, but I like where this is now too.
Smells like black cherry, mushroom, potting soil, spruce, leather, and rose petal. A structured very mineral and acid driven Burgundy that will make you puck. And then cherry rosemary following through to the end.

Loved everything about the wine from the cost to the taste. Light and perfect with cheese. Low acidity, crisp, delicious. — a month ago
