Great joy to drink this delicate and sophisticated Bourgogne rouge. Can’t wait for her better bottlings. — 4 months ago
2010 and still very very young. Doesn’t mean not enjoyable. Opulent cranberry and tart bing cherry. Loads of forest floor. Very powerful aromas. More than I’m used to with Barthod. Palate is still tight and needs air. After a while it really starts to sing. Amazing wine. Want to taste in another decade. — 5 years ago
2013. In a great spot. Expressive nose with layers of ripe cherries & plums. The fruit follows a similar path on the palate. At the Bourgogne level, I don’t expect the complex fruit, smoke & hints of fennel to emerge so beautifully. The complex flavors find a wonderful balance with the ethereal palate weight and chalky tannins. This is fresh, but the acidity is behind the flavors and textures right now. — 6 years ago

Medium ruby , bright with quite wide ruby rim . Ripe red berries on the nose , really open and expressive, strawberry , raspberry , some herbal tinges also . Quite ripe , but still enough freshness . On the palate ripe red fruits , strawberry , raspberry and light red cherry . Suave tannins , integrated alcohol and fresh acidity , still with silky mouthfeel . Good slightly stony tinged red fruit finish . Drinking very well but still young and fruit driven , quite ripe but still well balanced . From now and over the next 5 -8 years . At Cave & Cuisine , Demigny, 10km from Beaune , well worth a visit. — 21 hours ago
