Searing acidity as is the character of the vintage. Fruit is not as prominent now. Drinks very well, better than most Bourgogne. However, maybe not the most elegant and balanced Bon Batons.

At the Bourgogne level, I don’t expect the complex fruit, smoke & hints of fennel to emerge so beautifully. The complex flavors find a wonderful balance with the ethereal palate weight and chalky tannins. This is fresh, but the acidity is behind the flavors and textures right now.
