Medium light garnet ruby , quite wide light garnet ruby rim . Some sous bois , but mostly red plum and cherry , touch of red grapefruit also . On the palate this has decent grip and freshness , with red cherry , strawberry , rose , a touch earthy with a sappy , chalky finish and quite reasonable length . This is drinking well now , and wouldn’t want to leave it too much longer even though there is very decent structure for a Bourgogne Rouge , I just wouldn’t want to loose much more of the fruit . From now and over the next 3-4 years. Very commendable for a basic BR, shows good balance and has decent fruit and density on the mid palate
