Needed 2 hours to open up. Raspberry, cranberry fruit. Tart. Kind of deep pitched for a Burgundy. Not much in the way of tannins. Others on Cellartracker called this delicate. This bottle wasn’t at least compared to the 2013 Jean Tardy Gevrey Chambertin Champerrier I posted on just prior to this one. — 4 years ago
Dirty mid Ruby in colour - tawny highlights On the nose red fruits (strawberries) with a touch of barnyard. A light to medium weight palate showing red fruits and sweet spice, but essentially a simple uncomplicated wine despite the fact that it cost $180 AUD. This is where good new World Pinots supercede Burgundies like this. The next night a better showing but no great complexity. — a month ago
Very well balanced, nice deep color. Easy nose and gentle finish. — 3 years ago
