These guys are on a roll! This is simply astonishing with concentrated tropical fruit, lovely oak treatment and spice accents, yet lively and juicy thanks to great, nervy acidity. Long finish with floral notes.

Jul 31st, 2015Incredibly youthful, this show infant aromas of white flowers, candied peach, strawberries, chalky minerality, lively acidity and an immediate wow factor. Long and rich with great texture, still lactic but very promising.

Jul 5th, 2015Rhys. Pretty and powerful. So much here, citrus, apple, flinty and toasty but hints not obtrusive, orange oil and blossoms, lots of minerality for a domestic wine. Gawd I loves me some Rhys.

Sep 2nd, 2023Ready to drink now with all the “Meursault meets Puligny” thing that Rhys Chardonney gets into after a few years in our opinion. Medium bodied and medium length with citrusy, floral and a hint of almonds. Very fresh and balanced, great with food. Recommended.
