Vintage 2001 | my oh my. 24 years old. We tend to drink grüner veltliner young but there is no need to do so. @Rob van Kalmthout said the advice is to drink between 3-5 years or after 15 years and longer. I saw many happy faces with this wine. Flint and spicyness. I smelled chestnut champignons. Dill. And also creamy butter. Vitality, rich, beautiful rondeur. Fantastic. — a month ago
Great acidity!!! Fresh not cloying in the least with dried apricots and what someone would say a just opened can of tennis balls. Much too young at this point. — 2 months ago
Pretty light straw with green hint. Quite floral at first , touch of petrol , then mineral , wet slate , lemon peel , rose water . On the palate this is intense and very mineral , saline and well balanced . Wet slate , lemon peel, floral hints . Long and very precise , lean and mineral , focused on the finish . Needs a little more time, but will be great in a few years , wait another 3-4 . — a month ago
This one is a winner. Delightful and graceful, my guests all loved it. We served it with a miso, coconut salmon curry and it was a beautiful pair. So much juice for the money! And the frizzante really is wonderful. — 3 months ago
The nose is very minerally with chalky and flinty notes, apple juice, honey, and lemony notes, too. The palate shows a great acid drive, much more focused than most GV numbers I have had so far. I like its tension a lot! Apple juice and lemony notes all along, a soft, easy-going mouthfeel, a bit of grip in the rear, and a long finish with the same fruity notes and a chalky feel to it. This is not vert complex but super well made. I could picture myself sipping on this and serving it to both wine nerds and casuals alike at the party at home without a problem. — a month ago
First wine for ‘ National Drink Wine Day’! Aged white. Has a golden, straw color. Like a shiny wedding ring. Smells of honey and lemons. Just a hint of rain soaked concrete. Flavors are unique. Citrus buried under a bit of mellow Gouda cheese. Or maybe havarti. Get slight lemon peel in it. Has plenty to offer even with 8 years of aging. Elegant and ‘fancy’ feeling. Very balanced. Zippy, but just slightly ‘buttery’ or creamy. This is great white wine. — 2 months ago

Clean, fresh at nearly 5 years. Reductive and a little spritzy in a good way. Resembles a top German Müller-Thurgau. — 6 days ago
