Winestone. Nice. — 2 years ago
A-maz-ing!! Though, the price makes it prohibitive. — 2 months ago
Ruby red color with a dark core. Aromas of dark berry/cherry/currant, rose petals and wet soil. The palate is full of blackberry, blueberry and black cherry fruit with nice touches of smoky oak and spices on the long finish. Slight gamey note. Mouth watering acidity and nicely balanced. Excellent concentration, freshness and depth. — 4 months ago
Ruby, medium opacity, ripe apples and cherries, great minerality, balanced acidity, lovely burgundy — 3 months ago
Bright ruby color. Aromas and flavors of dried/candied black cherry/plum with hints of earth, mushroom and tobacco. Note of oaky charcoal on the finish. Grippy tannins and mouth watering acidity. More fruit forward and juicy (in a pleasant way) than I would have expected from a Red Burgundy. Generous and complex. Quite nice. — 2 years ago

2016 vintage. I prefer the 2016 to the 2015, more fruit to cover the chalkiness. Probably the most impressive Castillon I've ever tasted. Bright, perfectly ripe red fruit and fine grained tannin, with a complexity rarely seen in Castillon ( Château Clarisse is another one to watch). Abv. 14,5 %. — an hour ago
