This very dark fruited Nuits went down very easily. Cinnamon said it had enough sunshine but was still restrained enough to keep us coming back for more. I think it must have been a small bottle- it was gone quickly! A touch of flashy catnip like oak, but great acid. I am into it... or rather, I was. — 2 months ago
This Les Vignots is a very good, four square, blood making Pommard that is nothing like other 2013's I have had. It was dark, loaded with fruit, had good tannin and acid balance and a real synergy with our duck and fig sausages. We tried this with Spanish cheese as well, which turned it into a fruit bomb that wouldn't be out of place in Santa Lucia! — 2 months ago
This went well with our grilled cheese- especially the Cotswold half. It is a very rich style with expensive tasting French oak and high quality lime flavors, but a little flat. I guess I just like Chablis best. — a month ago
Wow- this bottle is a lot fresher than the one we drank a year ago. The Robert Fleury is a barrel fermented blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Blanc and 20% Chardonnay. Earthy dark fruit, Krug like barrel influence and savor are balanced by 2004 snap. With foie gras, pour le dimanche! — 2 months ago
