Even simple Bourgogne, when done right is so damn moreish. We adventurously paired this with duck confit and lentils, what a success. As my dad said, it should have been a liter.

Fruit-forward on the nose and tongue. Cherry pie, slight spice, slight forest floor with good balance. Simple, but great food wine. Would buy for under $20.

So much black cherry on the nose and at the front, but finishes super dry. A little too disconnected for me.
