Paired this with salmon, mash potatoes and Brussels sprouts with balsamic which was nice. Would definitely buy again especially bc of the reasonable price. — 4 months ago

Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Costco. Prior to aerating properly this was a little drying and oaky, and this wasn’t so good. However, following a bit of time to breathe and aerate, this was very enjoyable. Fruits and redcurrant and cherries came out, with a bit of an oaky dryness on the finish but not too significant. — a month ago

Clos Ste. Hune Alsace Riesling 2001

Golden and slightly dry. Refined fruit. Very pure. Some at the table think this is a bit under, but I like how balanced this is — 2 days ago

Chateau Ste. Michelle & Dr. Loosen

Eroica Gold Riesling 2016

Orange blossom, and marmalade aromas.
Sweet entry, orange, and citrus marmalade flavors. Bright acidity. Ends without leaving too much of a sweet aftertaste.
Excellent desert wine, or with spicy food.

Cold Creek Vineyard Merlot 2015

Let’s see:
Single vineyard
45-year old vines
A fantastic vintage
A reputable producer
Aged in American and French oak barrels for 22 months, 25% new
Additional 6 years in bottle age (at time of purchase)
How is $15 per bottle possible?!
The wine itself is fantastic as well. Ripe black plum, blueberry, licorice, cinnamon, black tea leaf, and hint of dried mushroom on the nose. Supple and balanced. No rush but very delicious now.
