This was delicious with tastes of melon very mellow. We loved it. — 3 months ago
The 2014 Vieux Château Certan has proven to be a strong performer in recent years, and there has been no change ten years on. Blacker fruit than its peers, plenty of black truffle shavings and a slightly pronounced marine influence. Maybe just a tad more VA than I recall? The palate is medium-bodied with a harmonious and silky smooth entry and fine precision, not a powerful VCC, and very elegant with raspberry, orange rind, tertiary notes and tobacco toward the finish. Wonderful. Tasted at Bordeaux Index's 10-Year On tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, March 2024)

BIG fan of this wine. Red fruit notes, but not too sweet. Tannins aren’t too strong, but enough for a little kick before a smooth finish. The aging is perfect on this, nice hints of Merlot and it’s hitting its peak. Great wine. — a month ago

[Kermit Lynch Import Version] This seems very youthful still, dried redfruits, rich and showing power and weight, long finish, very fine 35-year-old CdP that seems to be still on the ascent, excellent! — 6 days ago
