Superb aromas. Lemon curd, lime zest, minerals on minerals, spiced apple, some pear, some hints of funk. Like the good BO. BO after sex kind of BO. Palate is elegant, grippy and superbly made. Elegant, complex and just delightful. Has that 14 tensile nervousness but also shows that 14 while having acid does not have depth of 17 or 18. Long. So well made with lingering lemons on the finish. — 3 days ago
Medium gold. Looks heavy and rich in the glass. Great nose. Notes of kiwi, apricot, wet river stones, some clay soil, some oranges and the telltale Ramonet mint. Rich and round in the mouth. Great zing. Lasting finish. This is exactly where it should be at this age and will easily improve with more time as it becomes more complex. — 9 days ago
From the Grasings wine list in Carmel, PnP. Light straw color, young. The nose jumps at you in the tasting glass from the Somm. Has that "dirty" fruit smell that I find unique in Niellon wines. Citrus, gravel rocks, earthy spice. Oily and palette staining in the mouth. Even more so with some air time. Great juice! — 13 days ago
Agree with @Bill Bender seems that anything PYCM touches is just stellar. No exception here. Some what a unicorn coming out of Chassagne-Montrachet tangerine, apricot and cream out of the glass. Acid is still in the front of the palate then rolls to the back for a sustained long finish. You get all the elements of cream, yellow watermelon and minerals. — 13 days ago
Subtle nose with hints of floral notes and white fruit. The wine is medium bodied with vivid acidity and a good minerality, wet stone, good balance and easy drinking. Very good but not as long and as classy as the 2016 Puligny Referts we drank a week ago.
Un nez subtil, floral et un peu de fruits blancs. La bouche est minérale, roche mouillée, acidité vive, bel équilibre et très bien, sans venir près du Puligny Referts 2016 au niveau classe et longueur bu il y a une semaine. — 23 days ago
