Dried raspberries bacon fat and spice — a month ago
After decanting, showing its features. Black fruity and concentration. Robust structure. Good balanced. Frederic Esmonin Gevrey Chambertin 22 @, 240913 — 9 months ago
2023 vintage. Light-medium body. Initially pretty nose and flavors without trying-spearmint, raspberry, strawberry. Those impressions remained but dwindled with importance as rhubarb, clove and dark cherry steadily drifted in. A little substrate/carpet of dried earth that gradually gained strength. This is so youthful; a good 2-3 years necessary to even begin to speculate as to the ceiling and direction. 05.18.25. — 21 days ago

2019 vintage. Dusty, dirty, plummy nose. Medium/medium-heavy bod. A bit chunky for Pessac and that was perhaps the attraction. Balanced and overt fruit/tannins on the same plate. Seems like it'll hold steady as a bookmark in this spot for another 6-7 years. Curious as to where it rates in two decades but doubt I'll ever find out. 05.14.25. — 25 days ago

2022 vintage. Medium body. Decanted and tasted after 30 minutes. Bright nose and flavors. Too bright. Needs a solid half-decade to settle in, settle down and leave the night life behind. Could see the ceiling on this as a 9.4 in a decade+. 05.23.25. — 16 days ago
