Estournelles Saint-Jacques Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Earthy mushroom and bright red cherry over red currant and walnut. Surprisingly fruit forward for a French burgundy but tasty!

2023 vintage. From a 375ml bottle. Fairly fruity off the bat and medium/medium-heavy body. Came back to revisit after an hour and mouthfeel dropped down to medium body with expansive tea and earth flavors. Nice 1st impressions. 12.28.25.
