These old Brouilly are really incredible! Intense notes of peppery wild strawberries, truffle evolution, undergrowth, dried flowers, blood orange.. the finish is persistent, like the fragrances of a perfume, intertwining fine tannins and endless acidity veins, with light bitters welcome.
— 4 years ago
2024 vintage. Last tasted 3.18.26 (9.3). Medium/medium-heavy body. Black cherry cola straddling forest floor. Pleasantly astringent. Nice, back-end, palate push. $46 a btl resto cost is, frankly, insulting and woulda picked up 3-4 cases two months ago but long on red Burgs. Short, however, on ridiculously, QPR-driven NSG’s that list for less than two bills (since that bird flew the coop 3 years ago). Verdict: need another case-or two. 5.24.26. — a month ago

No hint of oak or butter yet delicious without them. Smooth and complex. — 5 years ago

2024 vintage. Last tasted 3.18.26 (9.2). Picked up a case and pretty flirty/forward. Should show well for the next half-decade. 5.31.26. — a month ago
