Clear, deep ruby to purple in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of black plums, graphite, and green peppers; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, blueberries, tar, and clay pots with a long finish. Kinda surprised by this. Thought it was gonna be novelty-ish. The climate makes sense though, high elevation, its got some minerals going on, fruit tastes like bright early picked blueberry and raspberry, really nice texture, if you told me this was cru burg I would believe you.
