Deep ruby color; black cherries, graphite, and raspberries on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like cherries, strawberry sauce, dried flowers, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie says it's ok. I love it! Nellie liked it after a long decant. — a month ago
Dark ruby color. no fruit on the nose, only herbal and earthy notes. Palate is the same. Very robust but not overwhelming. Medium high tannins. Would absolutely buy again. Enjoyed on date night before seeing Bill Burr. — 11 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over two days. Best on Day 2 after it brightened up. The 2008 pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of blackberry compote, coffee, Werther’s Chocolate, tobacco leaf, leather, teriyaki, demi-glace, and dry earth. On the palate the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes on the nose. The finish is long and slightly savory. This is delicious and has to be one of the great values in Ribera del Duero. Drink now through 2032+. — 2 months ago

This is the oldest único in my book and what an experience it was. Saw the wine change color and profile in my glass over a two hour period. Impressive. — a day ago
