Hermoso color rosa medio-palido. — 8 days ago
Nice weekday dry red — 7 days ago
New producer to me, but this was seriously incredible. Touch reductive at first, but really shined with air. All about the texture for me. Plenty of that dusty strawberry fruit from garnacha tintorera (Alicante) with the metallic and earthy quality Mencia can give you. Amy said it reminded her of cru beaujolais and honestly if I closed my eyes i could imagine foillard. No lie — 4 days ago
Local somm said it paired well with swimming pools, so that is where I drank it. Excellent choice. Creamier mouthfeel than sparkling wine made the champagne way. Raspberries in the background with slight toast up front, but that is the extent of the complexity. Bubbles disappear too quickly, but great until then. — 18 days ago
Lovely taste. Easy for drinking any time — 3 days ago
Dark yet fresh, vivid and bursting out of the glass with ripe sour cherry, violets and crushed rocks. A touch of reduction.
On the palate this is so fresh. Mid weight, juicy, crunchy tannins, juicy acidity. Chunky yet not rustic.
This has personality, loads of interesting edges, quite some depth and brilliant drinkability, esp. slightly chilled.
Brilliant value, too! — 2 days ago

A six-year-old old vine Verdejo. Tastes way more aged than I expected… Dried mango, apricot, strong minerality, salinity, Marcona almond, caramel, dried herbs as well. High levels of linear acidity, full bodied but not fat. 14.5%. Grippy phenolics coating the mouth. — 6 days ago
When winemakers devote themselves to the mastery of one grape, every bottling from top to bottom tends to be exceptional.
Such is the case with Raul Perez and his consistent ability to make Mencia bloom.
Vico is aromatically rich and complex. Cedar, new leather, blackberry, black currant, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee.
