Light, jammy front with a smooth, lightly earthy finish. — a month ago
A bit young. Bright, light red in color, crushed raspberry, cherries, dried flowers, dirt, maybe a mint/menthol note on the nose. Sharp on the palate. Traditional, and great. Bottle from Doug. — a month ago
We had this with Dewey and Dozieie at Erb Saint in New Orleans. Excellent. — 2 months ago
Beautiful, engaging nose. Full bloom, pink & red roses, cherry hard candy, layered, soft spice, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, light herbal notes, hint of bubble gum.
Pretty, ripe, juicy palate. Fruits are light; raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries & black raspberry hues. Wet river stone, dry limestone powder, more pronounced dark, dry tannins, dry herbs, dark spice with some heat, light, dry tobacco notes, barrel dust, bright red & pink roses, magnificent acidity with a very pleasant elegant, polished finish that lands on spice and lasts 90 seconds.
Really good value and one to pick up. — 3 months ago

Utterly ethereal. The 2016 riserva is this year’s release and it’s borderline transcendent, the silkiest tannins, light herbal freshness, fantastic depth and structure. This little spot just in front of the Pitti Palace here in Florence is amazing too. — 11 days ago
