Plum and mushroom with a touch of pepper. Good but a little earthy for me. — 13 days ago
Dark, lush fruits. Soft tannins, but a peppery finish. Great with my Veal Milanese. — 11 days ago
2020 vintage. Last tasted 5.13.26 (9.3). Another bottle picked up at $34.99 USD. Tasted over two days. Plenty of sumptuous, complementary oak in the early going that dissipates with time. Damned tariffs slid this offering from the upper $20's to the mid-$30's but still one helluva BDX bargain and a great introductory BDX for Napa/Brunello converts. Meyney killing it for affordable BDX for years. Get you some. 7.7.26. — a month ago

Incredibly lucky to even taste this, way outside of what I'm familiar with. First thing i noticed is how concentrated the nose is, extremely aromatic, red fruit with a creamy note and oak that is perfectly integrated. Normally I can smell when an ABV is this high but not with this wine. I can't believe how perfectly balanced it is - tannins, fruit, acidity, oak is all the perfect exact amounts so that nothing stands out on its own, but it has such concentrated flavor that everything stands out at the same time — 20 days ago
A perfect wine. Balanced and complex. A gorgeous first hit of plum with a hint of cherry. So broad fruit at first but then settles on the tongue with a noise terror of tannin. No bitterness just smooth and lovely. Girgeous wine. 2010 vintage gift bottle from Donna and Anders — 14 days ago

Dark tannins, cherries, fig jam and long minerals # — 7 days ago
Phenomenal wine. Tannins are completely softened with dark fruits. Incredibly enjoyable. The 2009 still going strong 17 years later. This can easily stay in bottle another 5-10 years. — a month ago

Golden in color.
Strong nose of citrus, yellow apples, light pineapples, spices, light cedar, earth, herbs and white pepper.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, light grapefruits, spices, light oak, earth and herbs.
Long finish with limes and almonds.
This delicious 10 years old Chardonnay from Napa Valley is still drinking beautifully. Very complex, elegant and nicely balanced.
Still showing enough fruits to balance the earth notes. Nicely aged, and will not get better from this point on.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 20 minutes of airtime.
It's always nice to try these kind of aged wines. Good by itself as a sipping and with food.
100% Chardonnay grapes were aged in (34% new) French Oak barrels for 8 months.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Dark ruby with aromas of dark red stewed fruits, blackberries, baking spices, and red currants. On the bud, it’s smooth and delicious with more stewed fruits and spices. Excellent with our aged ribeye and baked potato. — 6 days ago
