Dark fruit in the nose with blueberries, blackberries and boysenberries with a hint of vanilla in the palate. Very smooth and a wonderful Grenache blend. — a month ago

Smooth. Not tannic. Even better after being opened several days. Blackberry. — 21 days ago
What a wonderful wine. Jumped at this when I saw it on the list at Keens for less than retail (if you can find it). The nose is just so deep - like a ripe forest full of wonderful fruits and earth. Had the tannins and acid to stand up to the steak, would not have guessed it was 14 years old other than the somewhat slightly deep raisin fruit note.
Lots of earth and moss on the finish. Just delicious. What a treat. Have looked to buy Pialade many times and just can’t find it - fun one to have. — a month ago

Stood upright for a week so the particles would settle in the bottom. I decanted so I could get a clear glass and could see the puff of sulfur and all the bubbles or effervescence in the decanter. Very yeasty for the first 30 minutes and took longer than that for it to lose the effervescence. Not sure if any of this helped or hindered the results 🫠 — 23 days ago
