A delicious, affordable Vinsobres that easily holds its own against wines twice its cost/price point. A great representation of this northernmost aspect of of southern Rhone showing flowers, graphite and spices complimenting a mouthful of cherries unctuously drifting from one's lips to the throat before free falling home (sea, air & land; in my blood/hooyah!)... The pirate/cowboy/Viking returns home😉

Solid south rhone, no oak to get in the way of herbal, berry and olive juiciness. Did indeed open up after 30 mins, where it became a quite pleasant dinner drop. Balanced and simple. Good for price. 2011 vintage.

Just terrific. The nose is like a bouquet of just-picked violets with some bright cherry and mineral touches. Loads more cherry on the palate with a great mocha and iron finish. Evocative of cherry cordials. The Syrah is showing nicely right now.
