The 2009 Bourgogne Aligoté pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with pungent notes of matchstick and flint with some notes of lemon, apple, herbs and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and saline. Even her Aligote is remarkable and, apparently, age-able. Drink now through 2029. — 2 months ago
Age has made this one drier and with straw melon flavours. Pays Nantais wines age well — 24 days ago
Absolutely killer out of the bottle. On the 23 now and this is in the perfect spot. So opulent yet chiseled and such precision. It’s silly how beyond Bourgogne Blanc this is. Nose almost like Chablis. Unreal purity and balance. Chewy, dense and concentrated but a lemon drop quality and unreal structure. This has a decade left in the tank. What a finish. The minerality abounds. — a month ago
Popped and poured; the 2022 pours a a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe orchard and tropical fruit: green apple, pineapple, lemon curd, lightly toasted bread. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium with some chalky minerals. Drink now through 2032. — 11 days ago

Vintage 2022 | Fresh, saline, minerals. Aligoté is confusing to recognize when tasting blind, it can also be rather meager. But this Aligoté is textbook: fine citrus in smell, tones of Granny Smith in first sips, very very vibrant and juicy. You long to a new sip of the wine. Paired with Asian yaki udon with pointed cabbage, oystermushrooms, bacon strips and a viscous sauce in which I added a bit saké. — 19 days ago
