[En magnum] Dried redfruits, smooth and mature, relatively clean (very low Brett) bottle, good balance and length, lingering finish, very fine aged Beaucastel. — 14 days ago
With a four hour decant this bottle was brilliant! Notes of cedar, tobacco, cassis, dried blueberries it was an excellent accompaniment to the Matsuzaya beef — 7 days ago
Just a half bottle test.. way way too early. Decanted and it needed a solid hour before it unfolded at all. Great structure lurking but this experience was impaired by immaturity. — 8 days ago
Classic Comtes lemon and brioche, this bottle seemed a little less ebullient than another bottle a few weeks ago, but still very expressive. — a month ago
With Christmas Prime Rib seasoned in Maldon salt, fresh garlic, Thyme, Rosemary. Basted in butter, meat juice, drenched on Campari Tomatoes & Shallots.
This bottle was good but it’s up to others I’ve had in the last year. — 6 days ago
