Mid range Raul Perez, I actually found this more pleasing than the higher range — a year ago
Light on the nose, crisp, bright, nice acidity, hint of ash and minerals. — 2 years ago
Delicious wine from the canary islands! Acidic, funky, interesting, I swear I can taste the sea air. Bought in the Hobart book village, had with shrimp scampi and clams. — 4 years ago
Gentle tannins, aromatic, dark cherry, wildflowers, coffee, smoke, underbrush and eucalyptus... Absolutely well rounded caldo that will make any sunset memorable... This is a fabulous wine for serious wine lovers that have some friends over ... Canary Islands 🇮🇨 scoring really high AGAIN !! — 5 years ago
My go-to red! — 6 years ago
Nearly 8 years old and the acidity is still off the charts. Love it. Little smoky note on the nose and rocky notes at the end—so volcano. Lots of cherry with a bit of raspberry zip in the middle. Moderate-minus tannins. Wish it lingered longer. — 10 months ago
2021 with Lamb stew. Medium/full, balanced with excellent fruit and acidity, earthy, highly aromatic and flavorsome, good finish. Gorgeous Mencia from Raul Perez. — a year ago
Well balanced and quite refreshing. Gnite well with just about anything. — 5 years ago
I would love to retaste these Charles Perez Bergerie wines. They pack a serious punch of blood, bacon fat, olive, and red fruit. — 8 years ago
