Aromatics of black fruits with a touch of menthol (eucalyptus in these parts). Not as herbaceous as the northern part of Margaret River up In Wilyabrup. Oak is noticeable on the palate initially (even at 16 years). One of the few Cab Merlot blends as their top Cuvée (Cullen is another) in preference to straight Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate ripe black fruits and mulberry. Finishes with fine tannins. HH has a long drinking window on this, up to 2039 which I don’t think many will have the willpower to follow- including me. — 8 months ago

Deep and dark black cherry with some slight green, vegetal notes on the finish. Great structure and strong fruit makes this one for the cellar. Tight now, try again in 5-7 years. Very impressive and interesting…open this one if you’re interested in something different. — 3 years ago
We had the 2019 Vintage on 11/29-30/25. An excellent fruit forward, medium bodied and well balanced wine. Tastes of blackberry cherry, black raspberry and Asian spice. A darker fruit profile compared to three corner. — 2 months ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the ocean, a region where cooling fog comes in through the Petaluma Gap in the morning and once again in the evening. Medium Ruby color, with aromas of berries, tea and spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and tart black cherry with herb, cedar and cinnamon. Fine tannins, medium+ finish with lively acidity, good structure, ending with fruit and cedar spice. — 20 days ago
