Dried black cherry w spice. Med + body. Rich long cranberry finish w touch of heat — a year ago
Deep and dark black cherry with some slight green, vegetal notes on the finish. Great structure and strong fruit makes this one for the cellar. Tight now, try again in 5-7 years. Very impressive and interesting…open this one if you’re interested in something different. — 3 years ago
New label but the same always-reliable Zinfandel. Huge aroma of crunchy black fruit and red fruit with wild raspberry, elderberry, mulberry, plum and licorice. Tannins are soft and elegant, vibrant acidity and a warm undercurrent of dried herbs (think a Sonoma version of garrigue) give this wine charm and dimension. It’s lovely. 14.8% abv — 5 years ago
Deep virtually opaque blackberry shade. Absolutely beautiful with intoxicating aromas of berries, warming spice, bay leaves and black cherries. It’s rich and juicy in the mouth. Drinking beautifully however with patience this wine will be even more amazing 🤩 #sample #opinionsaremyown — 5 years ago
Young and fresh but showing many of the Dolinsek’s traditional traits: a big nose of blue and black fruits followed by a fruit forward wine of the same. It’s got bright acidity and firm tannins with a hint of black olive and pepper deeper in the wine. Drinking well now with loads of potential. — 3 months ago
Black cherry, raspberry, and earthy. Dark with smoke and oak. Bold for a Pinot. — 6 months ago
We had the 2019 Vintage on 11/29-30/25. An excellent fruit forward, medium bodied and well balanced wine. Tastes of blackberry cherry, black raspberry and Asian spice. A darker fruit profile compared to three corner. — 7 months ago
We had the 2017 Vintage on 10/1/24. A real good PN from Moshin. Medium bodied, nice mouth feel. Black cherry and baking spices. Less fruit forward than other Sonoma wines — 2 years ago
Mixed pepper, mixed red and black fruit. Was tart to open and then evolved beautifully. This will age! Rated 2016 last night 2018 tonight (feb)... Update, (2nd bottle of 2018, now late may): Those tart aromatics are piercing, rose water, lavender. It’s an intense wine. Medium bodied with light tannins. Very little oak influence. I think the cranberry and subtle white pepper will age and this wine will be nice for a long time. — 5 years ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, cedar and baking spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry fruit with cola and cinnamon spice notes. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and an earthy mineral character. Nice! — 4 months ago
We had a vertical tasting of 2018 and 2020 Little Hill Single Vineyard PN. Both have similar bouquets and palates. Black cherry and minerality. 2020 is a little more floral. 2018 has a more darker tone; and that is good. Both have nice mouthfeels with smoothed out tannins. 2018 is a little more velvety. Both very good. It seems these PN need more time in the bottle — 5 months ago
