Liberty Ciderworks, Spokane WA. 55 Chain English Style Cider. Label claims it to be “dry, tannic and fruit-forward” with Dabinett, Chisel Jersey, and Brown’s cider-specific varietals. Golden brown, excellent clarity, light carbonation, not much head on initial pour. Some oak barreling. Lightly malic with restrained aromatics. Tannic level highly complementary with a light touch on the wood extraction, thankfully. Exceedingly well crafted, great stuff. — 3 years ago
The herbal flavours taste really fresh and it is not too sweet. Good with tonic (“BenTon”) — 7 years ago
A ridiculously good cider out of Boston MA. This is what I'm talking about, cider and Mosaic hops! Slightly bitter, hints of citrus, perfectly balanced sweetness, yet still noticable that the base is cider and not grain. 4.8% ABV
Not sure why we waited so long to open this, as I remember it being stunning when we tasted late last year (2018). Just fantastic, could easily drink this in mass quantity in warm or cold weather! — 8 years ago

Deliciously decadent, yet balanced Pinot that held up nicely with a Porterhouse steak! Ample plum, black cherry and sweet earthy notes with velvety-smooth tannins — 5 years ago
First leaf. Medium to heavy body. Smooth with nice balance of fruit and spice. Would buy again — 7 years ago
I like the oakville cab most but they need a good decant and they are drinking fine versus tight as a drum
Daniel Benton is owner and winemaker - these are made in the old Napa fashion so they will age well and if patient in 3-5 years will drink a lot better
Also the fruit is powerful which gives a bold and beautiful nose - just too much alcohol but with age tannins will soften this I feel

Sean Minor founded Sean Minor Wines and Four Bears Winery in 2005. A veteran of the wine industry Sean’s fine wine career began with Beaulieu Vineyard (BV) in Napa, then managing Oregon's King Estate Winery, and lastly President of Benton-Lane Winery, after which he returned to CA to manage Renwood Winery. Aromas of sweet red berry fruits and spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors with sweet earthy notes and toasty oak. Fine savory tannins on a lingering finish. Good value. — 9 years ago

Having this again. Merlot from right next to the Tri-Cities, WA. Red of blood and bruised plums. Strange aroma of leather, sagebrush of WA, cherry pits, and petrichor. Flavors are elegant and sensual. Berry-cherry layer with wet river rocks and some smokey meats on the backside. This is well done, low priced Merlot from a great place for the stuff, south central WA! — 13 days ago
