The Crane Assembly

G. B. Crane Vineyard el Coco Red Blend 2020

Really original wine, reminds me of the first time I tasted The Prisoner years and years ago, the original Zinfandel version that is. This is a Petit Syrah, Merlot, Cab blend with concentrated flavors and deep complexity… Need time to open and achieve balance. Cheers. — 2 months ago

G Major Seven Study 575 OVX Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Been a few years since my last ‘14 G Major 7, and it’s better than I recall. Wine is drinking brilliantly now. Black and red cherry and blackberry. Tannins are soft and silky. Smooth, light, silky mouthfeel. Drinking at its best now I believe. So good. Medium plus finish. Pleasantly surprised just how much I enjoyed this. — 3 months ago

Weingut Keller

G-Max Rheinhessen Riesling 2011

A singular expression in excellence. Not many winemakers can say that. 11 is in the zone for me. Really developed and bursting with petrol and richness with that long acid finish. I wish this was a magnum. It changes every 30 minutes. So special. — 7 months ago
