A lot of red and black fruit, and a smooth mild structure. Very nice. — 3 months ago
Perfectly mature and so nice. So much spice, mahogany furniture, 19th Century first editions, and complexity in the perfume. Still a fair amount of relaxed, spiced cherry fruit on the palate, with interesting leather notes. Tannins resolved, decent acids. It’s 15% listed alcohol, but it’s not poking out. — 2 months ago
Extremely enjoyable, great substitute when you don’t want to pay 4x for the Barolo. Plenty of depth and intrigue here. Pleasure. — 4 months ago

So juicy and tasty, such structured wine but super smooth at the same time — 4 months ago
Fig? Plum? Sea salt. Has the density and richness of a dessert wine, but it isn’t. Strange and good. — 3 years ago

A mid cherry red in colour. Aromatics of red fruits, menthol and touches of tar and roses. Light to medium bodied on the palate - surprising for a Barolo with medium plus intensity. Different and interesting in a good vintage from an excellent producer. Next in a year. — 15 days ago
