A $40 Barbera….. but it drinks like a $40 Barbera. Really tasty. Would be a great midweek go to wine when cooking Italian at home. — 2 months ago
RW’s bday party at Chi Spacca. We all loved it. Very smooth and balanced. Barolo-like — a month ago
Red cherries, raspberries, dried herbs, wet stone, and hints of ginger and cardamom. Lovely and definitely gives me a new appreciation for Barbera. — 2 months ago

Nicely tannic. Www.dallaterra.com — a month ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of rich berry fruits and floral spice, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry flavors, with leather, cacao, spice, herbs and tobacco notes. Lively acidity, fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with spicy mineral and earthy oak. Nice! — 3 months ago

After sending back an oxidized, tired 2020 Rossi di Montalcino, the Somm had the waiter bring back this wine at around the same price point. Don’t sleep on #barberadalba from a great producer. Raspberry, plum, dusty dark fruit nose. So vibrant on the palate with lush yet tangy dark red fruit on the entry, gossamer tannins on the finish. Corking it after dinner and after the next day in the wine fridge still as alive. — a month ago
