Coste & Fossati Dolcetto d'Alba 2019

Lovely minerality up front, dark fruits, nice acid balance, goes very well with our fusilli pasta w/onions, garlic, capers, tomatoes, and olives. — a month ago

Pio Cesare

Barbera d'Alba 2021

Pio is on 🔥. Frederica has injected youth into this storied cantina, and has it firing on all cylinders. This was a voluptuous Barbera, bright red/purple hue, incredible mouthfeel. Great balance. I'd buy by the case at current pricing. — 2 months ago

Tre Vigne Dolcetto d'Alba 2021

On the nose, this is cherry and blueberry... On the palate the cherry is concentrated... The blueberry is also there... Savory, fatty... The tanning here is medium and chewy... The bright, fruity finish is just medium but the tannin lingers long... I quite like this tannin effect here. I paired this with crackers and an aged Gouda, but really I think this could have paired with a variety of foods. Decent acidity to hold its own against a variety of foods as long as they're kept simple. — 2 months ago

Nebbiolo d'Alba 2021

Bright Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral spice and slight earthy character. Nice! — a month ago
