Drank with Lynn, Philippe & Sylvie at dinner at L'Hotel Bellebreze, Rasteau. — 6 years ago
Spicy, leathery and smoked pecan elements. Sharp mineral earthy elements. Warm, peppercorn, but light. Bitter skins. Light tannins. Dry at first, then mellows out in the mouth to leave a light finish. — 9 years ago
Nose: vanilla. Spice.
Palate: delicious. Cherry fruit. Still some new oak.

Cherry, rose petal, licorice, earth and soft tannin. Medium minus body. Fun stuff with aged duck. — 8 years ago
amazing pairing w a rich french beef stew, especially loved the earthy, ‘shroomy notes — 9 years ago

The nose is typical with cherry, Raspberry, hay, Cola, even... This is quite welcoming. The palate shows some matter and a great acid drive. There are cherry notes dancing all along the acid drive, some width and some nice, a tiny bit thicker than usual mouthfeel. Some lively tannins kick in in the rear before a fruity finish with some salty, meaty touches in the end. This is a beautiful Julienas and I'm glad I have another bottle to leave on the side for a while. — 4 years ago

Just cruising in the cellar. Excellent village wine. — 7 years ago

Tropical fruit and honey, with bright lemon and yeast notes mid palate, med+acidity still and a spicy finish. Still plenty of life in this one! #chardonnay #whiteburgundy — 8 years ago

App seems crummy again. Forgot my note. Such a cool wine. Higher acidity. Coffee notes after half an hour. Getting more. — a day ago
